Objectives (Objetivos)
Objectives are important because they provide clear direction and purpose to our coalition. Each of them helps us define what we want to achieve and make it possible to measure progress and success.
Community Partnerships (Organizacion comunitarias)
We believe Community partners are essential in prevention work because they bring trusted relationships, cultural knowledge, and direct connections to the people most affected by the issues. When organizations, schools, families, and community groups collaborate, they can share resources, coordinate efforts, and create solutions that are more relevant, sustainable, and effective for the community.
Prevention Ambassadors (Embajadores de la Prevencion)
Prevention Ambassador is a program launched by Neighborhood House in 2021 with the goal of preparing multicultural change agents who promote healthy habits and strengthen community efforts to prevent substance use.
Guiding Good Choices (Guiando Buenas Decisiones)
Guiding Good Choices (GGC) is an evidence-based program for parents/ caregivers of youth ages 9-14. Caregivers learn to strengthen family bonds, improve parent-child communication, healthy conflict management and how to share their own family guidelines at home.
