Language / Literacy
Letter Scavenger Hunt
While out in the community, at the store, the park, or even out for a walk, do a letter scavenger hunt. Look for any letters of the Alphabet you may see. When you spot a letter shout it out! Your child can also write down each letter they find, to better keep track of letters.
Math / Science
Rock collection
Gather some rocks that you find outside while on a walk or when you are playing outside. Count how many rocks you collect. You can also sort them by color or by size.
Movement / Play
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
There are so many things you can do outside:
Try to get your children outside for at least 30 minutes each day.
1: Running and chasing friends/ families.
2: Kicking a ball
3: Having a race.
4: Going on a walk.
5: Playing games like Simon says, ring around the rosy, stop and go. I spy with my little eye.
