Interested in Neighborhood House’s early childhood education programs? The first step is to apply.
Once we receive your application, our team will contact you to confirm Head Start eligibility requirements and collect additional paperwork. We will also discuss the available program options to make sure your family enrolls in the one that meets you and your child’s needs. Our options include preschool, toddler classrooms, and home visiting.

How much does the program cost?
There is no cost for the program for all families that meet the age, income, and service area requirements.
Is there a deadline?
There are no deadlines. Enrollment for our programs is on a rolling basis and children can enroll at any time during the year.
How do I apply?
To apply, please submit an online application and submit the required supporting documents.
What documents do I need to submit?
Proof of age, income, and residency.
What documents can I submit for proof of age?
Child’s birth certificate, passport, I-94, green card, or immigration registration.
What documents can I submit for income?
The family’s income for the past 12 months, such as W2, 1040 tax return, 12 months of pay stubs, TANF or SSI letter, unemployment paper, or letter from current employer.
New! Families who are eligible for SNAP are eligible for our Head Start programs. An EBT card can be used for proof of income.
What documents can I submit for residency?
Utility bill, rental agreement, photo ID with current living address.
