The Housing Choice Voucher program helps low-income families, individuals, seniors and people with disabilities pay their monthly rent for apartments or houses in Seattle.

For Refugees and Humanitarian Immigrants

The DSHS Office of Refugee and Immigrant Assistance is partnering with community-based organizations to offer short-term housing assistance for recently arrived refugees and humanitarian immigrants in financial need. This short-term assistance can help with housing-related costs, including rent, security deposits, utility payments and other approved fees.

The Housing Stabilization Services program prioritizes new arrivals, but contracted providers may serve eligible households who have been here for up to five years.

Visit Regional Access Point

The Regional Access Point (RAP) entry points are resource centers where people experiencing homelessness can get help finding housing and other resources. Individuals and families experiencing homelessness may call ahead to schedule an appointment. To schedule an appointment for a Coordinated Entry (CE) Housing Triage Tool, households must contact a Regional Access Point directly.

Families with Student in Public School

If you are a family with a student attending a public school, contact the school counselor and request McKinney-Vento services.

Community College Students
