How to get started:
1. Connect
Contact development@nhwa.org if you are interested in hosting a coat drive to help get you started.
2. Setup your drive
Work with your workplace or friends to setup a coat drive in your local office or setup a page online at justgiving.org where people can find out how to get involved.
3. Spread the word
Print flyers or spread the word digitally about your holiday coat drive with your workplace or friends.
4. Drop off coats and donations
Coordinate a drop off location of all the coats and contributions with your Neighborhood House point person and see the impact of your work.
5. Celebrate your impact
Celebrate your impact and results with your network to help spread generosity!

Give Stock
We’re able to accept gifts in the form of stock, government(including municipal) dept and corporate debt through the Depository Trust Company (DTC). For security, settlement and reduced paperwork, electronic transfer through the DTC is preferred. This can be arranged from most brokerage accounts. Gifts of stocks and mutual funds are an extremely tax-efficient gifting option. You can access our account information and work with a broker to complete your donation or email us at development@nhwa.org to coordinate.
