News from Neighborhood House:
I graduated with my Bachelor in Elementary Education (Philippines) and with a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. I speak and write fluently in Tagalog and English and moderately in Spanish. I joined Neighborhood House in February 2020.
All kids are different, and everyone learns in their own unique way. I use multiple methods of teaching (linguistic, visual, auditory, kinesthetic, differentiated instruction) to reach students’ potential, so that no one is left behind.
Aside from academics, it is important to teach the value of honesty, encourage them to take challenges, consider others’ feelings, and the importance of treating people fairly.
