As you read books with your children. Asking them open ended questions and encourage them to tell you what the story was about. Ask them to see if they can tell you some details from the story.

STACKING BLOCKS

Have your child find legos, blocks, books, really anything they can stack up. Ask them to count and tell you how many they stacked. If you have colorful legos or other items have them sort them by color also.
